Why I Chose This Profession
I chose a career in veterinary medicine because I have always wanted to work with animals and never considered doing anything else. I was a pre-veterinary student at North Carolina State University before deciding to pursue my passion as a veterinary assistant, where I found my true calling.
Work History
I have worked in veterinary medicine since 2020. From 2022 to 2025, I served as a Senior Veterinary Assistant, building strong clinical skills and a deep commitment to patient care. I joined 5-Points Animal Hospital after hearing from others in the close-knit veterinary community that it was a truly great place to work, and I have found that everything I heard is true. I believe 5-Points Animal Hospital stands apart because patients, clients, and team members are all valued highly. After working in the corporate setting, I am especially excited to be part of a private practice where relationships and quality of care come first. My philosophy is simple: Happy Team Members = Happy, Healthy Pets.
